How old do I need to be to volunteer?
Volunteers must be 18 years-old or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What areas are available?
Beer Team (21+) (checking IDs and passing out wristbands)
Bike Valet Team (parking bicycles with MassBike)
Camping (support with on-site camp areas)
Green Team (collect & sort compost, recycling, and trash)
Guard Team (credential checks at entrances)
Headquarters (info tent, merch, & ice sales)
Hospitality Team (catering, artist check-in, and backstage support – experience required for these positions!)
Safety Team (crowd monitoring and bag check)
Ticket Scanner Team (ticket scanning & welcoming attendees at main Gate A)
Parking Team (onsite and offsite parking support)
What do I get in return for volunteering?
All Volunteers (minus parking and the Green Team): 8-10hrs of volunteer shifts earns you a festival weekend pass OR one 4hr shift for a day pass on the day of volunteering.
Green Team and Parking teams: One 4-5hr shift earns you a festival weekend pass.
Camping is not included for any volunteers.
Expect your shift assignment a month out from the festival.
***NEW Volunteers are required to submit a card to secure their volunteer position. If you do not complete your shifts, $80 (the cost of a day pass) will be charged to your card following the festival. A link will be shared with your assigned volunteer shifts.
Please note: Priority will be given to those who can commit to the full weekend.
